Lockheed Martin is hiring a Software Engineering Lead for F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) to serve as a Staff Software Engineer and delegate to the Lead Software Engineer. The role owns software engineering processes, staffing, resources, infrastructure, cost, schedule, technical performance, software architecture, and continuous improvement, while requiring proficiency with AI prompting. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least five years of model-based engineering experience, Cameo Systems Modeler expertise, SysML knowledge, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. The full-time salary range is $120,600 to $224,000, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
