Tailscale is hiring a Strategic Projects Engineer to join its AI-native Strategic Projects team and help turn prototypes into dependable, production-grade software. The role partners with product-minded engineers, hardens and operationalizes prototypes, establishes review, testing, and security practices for agent-generated code, and works with reference customers on integrations. It requires Go experience, basic networking, coding-agent and LLM fluency, and strong independent remote work skills; light travel is required. The position offers a CAD 218,420–302,840 base salary, equity, variable commission, and comprehensive benefits.
