proactive tuning of alerts and acting on early warning signals to prevent customer impact
diagnosis of complex production issues using logs, traces, metrics, and user reports
application of mitigations and delivery of permanent fixes in collaboration with development teams
maintenance and updating of runbooks, playbooks, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation
performance of KTLO activities like scheduled maintenance, patching, backups and restores, database indexing, archiving jobs, and capacity checks
support for releases, hotfixes, and patches, including deployment validation and production smoke testing
contribution to root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents
identification of recurring issues and suggestion of operational or automation improvements
assistance with performance investigations, including SQL query analysis, under guidance
adoption of automation and AI-assisted tooling to reduce operational toil and improve triage efficiency
