Matroid is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Systems & Infrastructure to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves architecting and coding new system capabilities, developing secure and scalable infrastructure, increasing engineering efficiency through tools and automation, and applying modern best practices like infrastructure-as-code and observability. This full-time position requires strong Python coding skills, expertise in Linux and systems programming, and a Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years experience developing software
Preferred Qualifications: Significant work experience as a software engineer in backend infrastructure
Personal projects that demonstrate an interest/expertise in systems, infrastructure, networking, etc.
Experience with: Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Helm, Kafka, Redis, Prometheus, MongoDB, Nginx
Experience with DevOps, MLOps, SRE and/or InfoSec
Familiarity with machine learning technologies, concepts and operation
