Cowboy Space Corporation is hiring a Software Engineer, Test & Automation to build reusable software frameworks and automation for spacecraft testing across software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, environmental, radiation, integration, and field-test environments. The role owns HITL infrastructure, develops SIL environments, automates qualification testing, integrates tests into continuous integration, manages test racks and instrumentation, and supports laboratory, test-facility, and field operations. Candidates need at least three years of relevant experience, strong Python, C/C++, or Rust skills, embedded communication experience, and hands-on hardware integration; the position offers $100,000–$200,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
