Description
Baseten is hiring a Software Engineer for its Platform team within the Infrastructure organization to own the full testing stack for mission-critical AI inference. The role focuses on building unit, integration, load, performance, resilience, and chaos testing frameworks; provisioning ephemeral Kubernetes and containerized environments; improving test reliability and CI performance; adding observability; creating shared testing templates; and mentoring engineers. Candidates need strong Go or Python skills, experience with testing frameworks and distributed-systems test infrastructure, knowledge of load and performance tools, Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals, advanced CI/CD expertise, and a track record of improving testing culture.
