Description
Interactive Brokers is hiring a software engineering professional to design, optimize, and maintain transaction surveillance systems, data architectures, databases, and automated real-time and batch data pipelines. The role owns mission-critical datasets and collaborates with quantitative engineers, surveillance model developers, and Compliance stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, secure, and regulatory-compliant production systems. It requires strong Python experience, knowledge of C++ or Java, Pandas or NumPy, Linux, SQL, large Python codebases, data engineering, and excellent analytical and collaboration skills. The position uses a hybrid work arrangement in Budapest.
