BMT is hiring a Software Engineer to develop the compute core and AI applications for TUFLOW, a hydraulic modelling software suite. The role focuses on CUDA C/C++ solvers, numerical kernels, GPU performance, and machine-learning or LLM applications, while also contributing to codebase modernisation, testing, documentation, and multidisciplinary software development. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least five years of software development experience, C/C++ and CUDA expertise, and baseline AI-assisted development proficiency; remote, hybrid, and part-time work options are available across Australia.
