Description

Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer - User Experience to build a modern, AI-powered seller earnings experience. The role focuses on frontend engineering with React and TypeScript, creating responsive, accessible, secure, and maintainable experiences, and integrating them with APIs, services, identity, data, and AI capabilities. The engineer will collaborate across product, UX, service, data, and AI teams and participate in production engineering, incident response, and AI-native development practices.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of technical engineering experience or equivalent experience
Experience building and shipping modern customer-facing web applications and user experiences
Experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, or comparable modern frontend technologies
Experience developing responsive, accessible, performant, and maintainable web applications
Experience translating complex, data-rich business scenarios into simple and intuitive user experiences
Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs, cloud services, authentication and authorization, and distributed backend systems
Experience building or integrating AI-powered applications, copilots, agents, conversational experiences, or intelligent user experiences
Experience working with Azure or comparable cloud platforms and telemetry, observability, production engineering, incident management, or live-site operations
Experience working collaboratively across engineering, product management, UX design, data, and business teams
