Axis is hiring a Software Engineer to join its Sophia-Antipolis R&D team and develop video-analytics technologies that analyze video streams to infer high-level information. The role covers product development from inception through customer feedback, collaboration with embedded Linux, AI research, validation, front-end, and peer software engineers, and production of robust, reusable code. Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field, proficiency in Python and/or C++ across Windows and Linux, at least five years of software product experience, and familiarity with Git, Gerrit, MLOps, test automation, and CI/CD. Knowledge of cameras, imaging, software evaluation, and embedded software is a plus, while English fluency is required.
