IONOS is hiring a C++ Backend Engineer to develop and maintain the Enhanced Backup solution, which backs up millions of web hosts daily. The role involves defining technical solutions with Product Owners and Architects, developing new products and extending existing ones, and participating in development, maintenance, and housekeeping. The position requires strong C++ expertise, network and multithreading programming, Linux systems knowledge, API development, testing, and familiarity with backup and container technologies. It is based in Romania and offers a hybrid work model.
