Gallatin is hiring a Backend Engineer to build and maintain API services, data models, pipelines, and the Navigator platform for logistics decision-making systems. The role involves extending existing APIs, designing relational schemas, building ETL and data-stream pipelines, collaborating with UX and product teams, and improving CI/CD and engineering practices. Candidates need strong backend and data-engineering experience, preferably with TypeScript, Python, SQL, or Vue.js, and must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
