Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its XR team to develop products and systems for lightweight augmented and virtual reality devices combined with AI. The role involves writing code, participating in or leading design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging product or system issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, software development experience, ML infrastructure experience, and experience in computer vision, video generation, or signal processing. The position offers €106,000–€108,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits in Germany.
