Illumio is hiring an onsite Software Engineer in Sunnyvale, California, to build and own scalable Zero Trust segmentation features for containerized applications and pods. The role involves designing and implementing secure, stable systems across Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and GKE; mentoring junior engineers and interns; and collaborating with field and customer teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, at least five years of experience building distributed and scalable software, proficiency in a higher-level language, and familiarity with Kubernetes and related technologies.
