Description
Salem State University is hiring a full-time, tenure-track Computer Science faculty member at an open rank beginning in Fall 2027. The role involves teaching introductory, intermediate, and advanced computer science and information technology courses, advising students, contributing to departmental and university service, and maintaining scholarly or professional development. Candidates need a PhD in computer science or a closely related field, or an ABD with a master’s degree, along with teaching experience across introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels and experience applying current computing technologies to the curriculum. The position is on-site in Salem, Massachusetts, and employment is contingent on satisfactory background and CORI checks; visa sponsorship is not guaranteed.
