Description
The Software Engineering Manager manages software development activities and coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, compensation, and disciplinary actions. The role oversees software design, development, documentation, testing, standards compliance, and the full development life cycle, while applying knowledge of computer hardware and software, business applications, information processing, and user requirements. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, software engineering or related experience, and technical leadership experience, with additional desired skills including project management, Agile development, C++, Java, Linux, system integration and testing, and experience with ADP or similar programs.
