Encode, Inc. is hiring a Level 2 Software Engineer for its Electronic Warfare software engineering organization. The role develops, integrates, tests, and supports software for embedded devices and communication systems across Linux, Windows, and embedded real-time operating system environments. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system design, software development, peer reviews, defect repair, documentation, and support for bids and proposals. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent graduate degree with 0–2 years of experience, or six years of experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred qualifications include C++, embedded real-time software, high-performance and multi-threaded programming, security clearance, embedded systems design, and knowledge of electronic warfare, networking, and communication protocols.
