Neo4j is hiring a Backend Engineer to develop and maintain the distributed aspects of its native graph database, including high availability, distributed consistency, horizontal scalability, and deployment flexibility. The role spans low-level I/O systems, distributed control planes, core database features, production management in Aura, bug tracking, and feature design. Candidates should have experience with distributed systems, be interested in modern Java and Kubernetes, and be able to work independently in a geographically distributed organization.
