L3Harris WESCAM is hiring a Software Engineering Co-op in Waterdown, Ontario, for a 16-month term with 12-month terms occasionally available. The co-op will work with the embedded software team supporting new and existing product designs, validating, testing, and debugging designs, and analyzing improvements for reliability, performance, and cost. Required capabilities include embedded C/C++, Python scripting, real-time operating systems, multi-threaded real-time code, embedded systems design, electrical engineering concepts, test equipment, mathematical analysis, communication, and Microsoft Office skills. The role is intended for a university student enrolled in a relevant computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or software engineering program.
