Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Azure AI Platform air gapped engineering team to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud services supporting Azure AI Platform workloads in air gapped and sovereign environments. The role covers full-stack AI infrastructure development, automation, observability, testing, deployment, telemetry, incident investigation, and collaboration across engineering teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, equivalent experience, and an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access; U.S. citizenship is also required. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 85,400–168,100 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
