Description
Mindrift is seeking a project-based Software Engineering Evaluation Specialist for Terminal Bench. The specialist designs realistic, self-contained coding tasks for AI coding agents, including broken software, Docker environments, pytest verification, instructions, and reference solutions. The role requires at least three years of production backend software development in one supported stack, strong Python and pytest skills, Docker and Linux/Bash expertise, experience with AI coding agents, and B2+ English. Contributions are paid at rates up to $35 per hour, with a flexible workload of approximately 8–20 hours per week; this is project-based participation rather than permanent employment.
