Description
Mindrift is seeking a project-based Software Engineering Evaluation Specialist for Terminal Bench to create realistic, reproducible coding tasks that test and improve AI coding agents. The role involves building Docker environments, writing pytest-based verification tests, authoring task instructions and reference solutions, calibrating task difficulty, and later reviewing other authors’ tasks. It requires at least three years of production backend software development in one supported stack, strong Python and pytest skills, Docker, Linux/Bash, AI coding-agent experience, and B2+ written English. Contributions are flexible and paid at rates up to $35 per hour, but this is not permanent employment.
