Description

This role involves leading and overseeing the operations of the Software Engineering for Audience & Measurement department. Key responsibilities include managing Snowflake-based data platforms and ingestion services, optimizing costs and performance, driving platform modernization, ensuring data normalization, and developing a high-performing engineering organization. The leader will partner with various internal teams to ensure accurate, responsive, feature-rich, and privacy-compliant functionality.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience owning the engineering strategy and roadmap for Snowflake-based data platforms.
Ability to establish and enforce SLAs/SLOs for ingestion latency, availability, currency, and recovery.
Experience optimizing Snowflake cost, warehouse efficiency, workload isolation, and processing performance.
Experience overseeing the design, scalability, and performance of ingestion components.
Experience driving platform modernization using cloud-native patterns, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and standardized ingestion interfaces.
Ability to ensure the platform consumes, normalizes, sanitizes, and processes high-volume segment data.
Experience developing approaches for maintaining high performance and availability of Ingestion-related services.
Experience building and developing a high-performing engineering organization.
Leadership experience in building capabilities for audience segmentation, 1P/3P data onboarding, segment replacement, add/remove workflows, and activation-readiness for marketing use cases.
Ability to prepare and manage budgets and financial targets.
