Wellmark is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program, starting in May 2027 on a hybrid schedule from its headquarters in Des Moines. The intern will support analysis and development activities focused on application integration, contribute to departmental initiatives, and apply foundational functional knowledge. The role requires a current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a relevant degree, knowledge of developer tools and programming languages, structured or object-oriented programming, analytical problem-solving, and proficiency with modern AI tools. Prior office or internship experience is preferred, and the employer does not consider applicants requiring immigration sponsorship.
