Description
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring a Connected Systems Software Engineering Intern to work on backend services, distributed cloud systems, vehicle telemetry, remote commands, fleet management, connectivity infrastructure, and end-to-end integration. The internship is full-time from January 11, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with candidates matched to one of six software engineering tracks based on background and interests. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program at an accredited US university and proficient in at least one of Python, Go, C++, or Java; exposure to distributed systems, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, vehicle communication protocols, or backend development is preferred.
