The Software Engineering Lead serves as a subject-matter expert for a team of software engineers, providing direction on project plans, schedules, methodologies, and complex system development. The role includes writing and reviewing specifications, completing complex bug fixes, designing data models, implementing development processes, resolving technical issues, mentoring entry-level engineers, and managing direct reports. It requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, a BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience, and expertise across multiple development languages, data modeling, data storage, and development methodologies.
