Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is hiring a Software Engineering Manager 2 in Melbourne, Florida to lead a team of approximately 10–20 software engineers through the full software development life cycle in an Agile environment. The dual-hatted role reports to the IPT Lead on the program side and the Software Department Manager on the functional side, with responsibilities including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, staff workload forecasting, tool and process improvement, documentation, and engineering leadership. The position requires full-time on-site work, up to 10% travel, a U.S. government Secret clearance, and substantial STEM education and software development experience. The primary salary range is $139,100 to $208,700, with potential overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and other benefits.
