Description
Apple is hiring an Engineering Manager for its ASE Commerce - Subscriptions team to lead the evolution of Apple's subscription ecosystem. The role involves building and guiding a team that develops shared services and application components, contributing to architecture and implementation of user-visible features, and partnering with cross-functional teams to build systems serving hundreds of millions of users. Responsibilities include technical leadership, mentoring engineers, code reviews, debugging, ownership of ambiguous requirements, and building scalable, secure, reusable systems. The position requires hands-on engineering, distributed systems and microservices experience, RESTful web services, relational databases, testing, and a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
