Description
Apple is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a small, collaborative team of 3 to 5 software engineers building and operating server-side commerce systems. The role covers technical direction, roadmap delivery, architecture decisions, code reviews, operational health, incident response, customer privacy and security, and engineer development. It requires at least five years of professional software engineering experience, including people management or equivalent technical or project leadership, along with Java, microservices, SQL and NoSQL, RESTful services, and distributed-systems experience. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required.
