Alarm.com is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of 5–7 full-stack developers working on server-side smart home security systems. The role manages projects, timelines, technical feasibility, and work distribution while providing mentorship and leadership across backend services, websites, databases, IoT device integration, and scalable service-oriented architectures. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of professional software development experience, strong C# and object-oriented programming skills, database and networking knowledge, and experience managing diverse engineering teams. The role is hybrid, with employees working from the office four days per week, and includes medical plans, an HSA, and a 401(k) match.
