Description
Archer is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to build, lead, and mentor a team developing flight-critical software for its all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The role coordinates flight software development, verification, certification, and motor-control software; defines DO178C-compliant development and verification processes; supports the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification; guides software architecture; oversees SOI audits and DO330 tool qualification; and establishes KPIs to improve safety and efficiency. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least 120 months of experience in C programming, aerospace software development, safety-critical software, and the software development life cycle. Compensation is $242,873 to $255,016.65 per year, and visa sponsorship is not available.
