Description

CoMind is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of DevOps and test engineers while remaining hands-on with technical direction. The role owns CI/CD, embedded Linux build and deployment, test automation, software validation, compliance workflows, cloud data pipelines, and cybersecurity coordination for a regulated medical-device software stack. It requires 10+ years of software, DevOps, or test engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management, and is based in the London Kings Cross office with a hybrid schedule.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of progressive software, DevOps, or test engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management or team leadership
Experience leading and growing DevOps, test, platform, or infrastructure teams
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, build systems, and test automation for embedded or cloud systems
Experience with embedded Linux build and deployment, ideally Yocto-based BSPs
Experience architecting scalable test infrastructure across embedded hardware and cloud-side data pipelines
Experience delivering in a regulated industry with working knowledge of IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
Advanced Python and C/C++ experience with infrastructure-as-code and a major cloud provider
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop test environments
Exposure to MLOps, model drift validation, dataset governance, and automated AI performance evaluation
Experience with cybersecurity requirements and SOUP management
Experience managing complex build environments or cloud-native infrastructure-as-code
Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus observability tooling
