Description
The Software Engineering Manager leads a team of software engineers, provides hands-on technical guidance, and collaborates with product managers and business leaders to define project goals and priorities. The role oversees code reviews, quality assurance, project risks, escalations, status reporting, and technology adoption, while fostering collaboration and innovation. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, at least 10 years of object-oriented design and development experience, and leadership experience managing 8–10 developers, senior developers, or leads. The role requires expertise in JavaScript, Java, SQL, REST and SOAP services, container platforms, and AWS Cloud.
