Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, influence and coach a distributed engineering team, align goals and timelines across teams, and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. The role also involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 7 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute, storage, or hardware architecture, and 5 years of experience with software design, architecture, and product testing and launch. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, extensive data structures and algorithms experience, prior technical leadership, and experience in complex matrixed organizations. The listed compensation is $262,000–$364,000 USD plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
