Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineering Manager for Google Compute Engine in Poland. The role manages engineers across multiple teams and locations, oversees large-scale project deployment, contributes to product strategy, and builds and retains engineering talent. Responsibilities include setting product-area priorities, collaborating with developers and product managers, and improving productivity, production quality, and coverage through scale and tooling. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 8 years of experience in kernel development and distributed systems design; experience managing internal infrastructure, developer tools, or distributed computing infrastructure is preferred. Compensation is PLN 480,000–492,000 plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
