Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineering Manager for its Container-Optimized OS (COS) team. The role leads technical vision and large-scale infrastructure projects, implements automation and performance-improvement frameworks, collaborates across infrastructure teams, and mentors engineers while developing future technical leads. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, and experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture, along with technical leadership and people-management experience. Compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
