Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead engineers across multiple teams and locations, manage a large product budget, and oversee the deployment of large-scale international projects. The role focuses on modernizing quality practices and test architectures, architecting and deploying agentic AI systems for autonomous test generation, synthetic edge-case modeling, and root-cause analysis, driving physical AI and smart lab automation, and overseeing end-to-end verification, system validation, and hardware-in-the-loop infrastructure. The manager will also partner with Hardware, Silicon, Firmware, and OS teams to establish unified validation standards.
