Google is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, influence and coach a distributed engineering team, align cross-functional goals and timelines, and manage project priorities and deliverables. The role also involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 5 years of Android application development experience, 5 years of software product testing and launch experience, and 3 years of software design and architecture experience. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, extensive data structures and algorithms experience, prior technical leadership, and cross-functional project experience. The listed compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
