Index Engines is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to own the architecture and delivery of its CyberSense user-facing stack, including web front end, REST APIs, backend services, and data access. The role combines hands-on technical leadership—reviewing code, prototyping, defining API contracts, and making architectural decisions—with people leadership, hiring, coaching, performance management, and backlog feasibility. The manager will partner with Product, QA, Support, and other engineering teams while maintaining performance, security, scalability, accessibility, and release-quality standards. The position requires a bachelor's degree, 14+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, 4+ years leading engineering teams, and strong front-end and server-side capabilities; it is a hybrid role with work-from-home on Mondays and Fridays.
