Mastercard Services is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead the technical direction of analytics and AI applications within its Data Analytics and AI product suite. The role involves guiding architectures and development processes, coaching and mentoring engineers, collaborating with product and design teams, and delivering scalable, data-driven applications. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of engineering experience in an agile production environment, full-stack application experience, proficiency with Java, Spring, React, TypeScript, Git, Jenkins, REST APIs, SQL, and related technologies, along with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of engineering experience in an agile production environment
Experience leading the design and implementation of complex features in full-stack applications
Experience building and deploying production-level data-driven applications, data processing workflows, and machine learning systems at scale
Data engineering or data science background with strong understanding of data pipelines, architecture, infrastructure, and management
Preferred Qualifications: Object-oriented languages, preferably Java/Spring or C#
Modern front-end frameworks, preferably React with Redux and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Python or Scala and Hadoop platforms
Cloud-native development using microservices
Kafka and Zookeeper experience
Enterprise application security protocols
Automated E2E and unit testing frameworks
Splunk or alerting and monitoring solutions
