Description
Microsoft is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Purview Fundamentals team to own end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Purview platform services, lead and grow software engineering teams, drive reliability and operational excellence, and ensure security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements are embedded in the engineering lifecycle. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least 8 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, along with Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud background checks. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, distributed systems and software security expertise, and extensive enterprise-scale software and engineering leadership experience. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 165,600 to USD 296,400 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
