Description
MISO is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead one or more software engineering teams, set technical direction, manage delivery and quality, and advance AI-native and automation-first software development practices. The role includes partnering with Product Management, overseeing vendor and staff-augmentation relationships, recruiting and developing engineers, and managing technology, security, budgets, and resource forecasts. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of technical experience and three years of management experience, and expertise in distributed engineering, AI tooling, CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, containerization, infrastructure-as-code, APIs, and application security. The position offers a base salary of $157,000–$182,000 USD annually, an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
