PTC is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team of 5–10 software engineers working on backend systems using Java, Spring, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, delivery oversight, risk management, code review, and collaboration with QA, product managers, and other teams. Candidates need 5–10+ years of Java backend development experience, at least 2 years leading a team or strong technical-lead experience, and experience with monolithic systems and existing production codebases.
