Shield AI is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead the X-BAT Hardware Test Software team and build, sustain, and improve automated production test systems for avionics and aircraft electrical assemblies. The role owns the technical roadmap, Python-based test frameworks, station-control software, instrumentation and FPGA interfaces, CI/CD, release processes, test coverage, reliability, and root-cause analysis, while partnering with electrical, mechanical, embedded, and FPGA teams. Candidates need at least five years of relevant software or test-automation experience, two years of people-management experience, and experience with hardware-integrated test systems; the position offers full-time and temporary employee packages with pay, bonus, benefits, and equity.
