The role leads engineers across multiple teams and locations, manages a large product budget, oversees international large-scale project deployments, sets long-term feature and engineering strategy, provides executive technical guidance, mentors junior engineers, incorporates AI into features and development workflows, and leads code and design reviews. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 3 years of engineering and technical leadership experience, and experience with distributed systems, architecture, systems integration, and web-based applications.
