Description
Coder is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Core Workspaces team to lead and grow software engineering teams while setting technical direction for agent harnesses, integrations, developer workflows, and agentic systems. The role involves hands-on architecture and implementation decisions, improving reliability and performance, partnering with Product and Design, and coaching engineers. Required qualifications include experience managing software engineering teams, hands-on React and TypeScript experience, Go experience, LLM and agentic workflow systems experience, distributed systems knowledge, AWS knowledge, and strong technical judgment. The team uses Go, Postgres, TypeScript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and GitHub Actions.
