The role owns technical strategy, operational objectives, architecture, budgets, headcount, resource allocation, hiring, mentoring, cross-functional alignment, and engineering standards, while managing both full-time and variable workforce members. Candidates need 12+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, 4+ years of engineering management experience, strong distributed systems and database knowledge, proficiency in at least two modern programming languages, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
