Google Cloud is hiring a senior AI engineering leader to lead the technical strategy and execution of vertical solutions using Generative AI, large language models, and agent-based systems. The role involves architecting scalable and secure enterprise applications, collaborating with product and research teams, and managing and mentoring a team of approximately 5–10 software engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, and experience in technical leadership and people management. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD and experience with Unix/Linux, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, and TCP/IP. Compensation is $207,000–$300,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
