Grab is hiring a Software Engineering Manager II to lead a group of software engineers across diverse technology stacks, improve technical performance, and collaborate with product, design, analytics, and other teams. The role involves code and design reviews, engineering planning, recruitment, talent development, staffing adjustments, and performance management, while reporting to a Senior Software Engineering Manager and working onsite in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Candidates need at least five years of backend and distributed-systems software engineering experience, two years of software engineering leadership experience, and expertise in CI/CD, databases, cloud environments, system architecture, scalability, performance optimization, Agile and Scrum, and high-scale systems.
