Medtronic is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing, and sustainment of complex medical device software for the Affera Mapping and Ablation System. The role manages releases, regulatory deliverables, forecasting, budgets, technical planning, Agile processes, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, with a minimum on-site presence of four days per week in Mounds View, Minnesota or Newton, Massachusetts. The position requires a bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least three years of relevant experience, along with medical product software, IEC-62304, and FDA guidance knowledge. The base salary range is $142,400 to $213,600 USD, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
